From now on, the Erlkoenig crank will be offered with our new Hollow CrMo 19mm 48splines spindle
With the Titanium price rising like crazy, we decided to develop a lighter and stronger CrMo spindle for our
Erlkoenig cranks.
The result is our new Hollow CrMo 19mm 48splines spindle which is only 80grams heavier and a lot more durable. The
splines on Titanium spindle tends to fatigue and deforms with time, with our new Hollow CrMo spindle, no
significative deformation has been measured after extensive testing. In addition to an increase in strength, the
overall price of the crank will be cheaper. So it is a win-win situation!
With a new weight of 800g for 175mm version the KHE Erlkoenig crank is still one of the lightest bmx crank on the
market.
Classic 3pc design with 19mm and 48 splines spindle, the KHE Erlkoenig crank is the very first crank to feature
custom made Fluted CrMo Arms. Function and strength have been tested extensively in labs and by our riders.
